From Our Conference President:

All United Women in Faith are called to gather on October 4-5 at Central United Methodist  Church in Meridian, Mississippi, in District 3 (Meridian, Hattiesburg) for our Thirty-Sixth Annual Meeting. Our District Superintendents and their spouses will be special guests at the meeting.  Our speakers will come from our national division.

We have two Mission Projects for the Thirty-Sixth Annual Meeting: Moore Community House, Biloxi, MS need Extra Long Twin Beds Comforters, UWF Members are asked to help with this Mission Project. Please bring this item to the Annual Meeting. Choctaw Mission, Choctaw, MS (Eagle Nest) needs toddlers’ underwear’s, pullups, socks, and infant clothes also bring those items to the Annual Meeting.

Saturday’s Morning Business Meeting at 9:00 A.M. has been streamlined to allow time for all pertinent business including voting on several items by the elected UWF delegates. A National Officer (Soul Care) will discuss/speak to us on how to do a “Soul Care Retreat”. We will also install our incoming Conference Officers for 2025. Our Friday night offering will go to Wesley House-Meridian, and Saturday Offering will go back to our Conference United Women in Faith to help meet our Conference UWF pledge. Lunch will follow Saturday Worship and Business Session.

We encourage you to share the information about this very important Annual Meeting with your UWF members, make copies of the Registration Form, and be sure that all your members are invited to attend.
