Greetings from your Vice-President
I submitted my first article for the February, 2020 Horizon, and now I submit my last
article for the September, 2025 Horizon. I want to thank Barbara Franklin for the outstanding
job she has done in publishing this newsletter. It is always beautifully and
professionally done.
As I reflect over the past 5 1/2 years, I am filled with gratitude for each of the ladies
who have served on the Brookhaven District/District C/District 7 Leadership Team.
Your dedication, faithfulness, and willingness to serve have been a shining example
of Christ's love in action. The example you set---through your commitment, collaboration,
and compassion---reminds us what true leadership looks like.
Although we will no longer meet together as a leadership team, we will, hopefully,
see and continue to work with each other at the upcoming UWF events in 2026. As
we begin this next "chapter" of UWF (larger district, new leaders, new year), may you
be refreshed in your spirit, strengthened in your faith, and filled with joy as you continue
to follow His calling.
